The Almost Home Charities Annual Giving Registry 
What Is The Annual Giving Registry?
We strive to convince our local businesses, families, and individuals to keep their donation gifts local to our community. We have designated specific community non-profit organizations that we will assist financially with your help. To help foster this annual giving but also publicly give thanks to those that donate, we have created an annual giving registry. It serves as a funding mechanism for our targeted charities but also gives a public “thank you “ to those that give.  
What Are The Benefits of The Registry?
How Does The Registry Work and How Do You Get Involved?
Besides the satisfaction received from simply giving, the following is a quick list of other benefits that donors will receive.
  • Your company or family name will be included in a public listing showing you as a generous member of The Registry. The Registry list will be in the newspaper or other public forum.
  • You will receive a binder with individual explanations of how your specific donation was used including which of our charities received it and how the funds were spent. This binder can be left in your lobby or or in your home so customers and guests can peruse it.
  • You will receive a Certificate of Appreciation for each year you are on the registry. This document can be framed and shown with pride so your guests or employees can see that your generosity has an impact on your community.
To be added to The Registry, simply register yourself, your family, or your company with the provided registration form and send it, along with your donation, to Almost Home Charities at 4956 Summit Ridge Road, Valdosta, GA 31602. Please note that you can also call 229-244-5870 or email us at helping@almosthomecharities.org and we will be happy to get you started!  The Official Registration Form can be downloaded using the button to the right or clicking here.  AHC is grateful for any donation received, but to be a part of the public registry, there is a minimum of a $100 donation. Just to reiterate, we will gladly accept any donation, but to be a part of the public registry, we ask for the minimum amount. Your donation is tax deductible as AHC is a 501(c)3 organization. You can give as often as you like throughout the year and the whole process repeats the next January 1.
