Benefit Auction Series Announced! 
AHC is excited to announce a a series of themed auctions through a partnership with Olde Mill Town Auction & Consign-ment Gallery, Inc. Our five auction themes will be Kitchen Collectibles; Designer and Vintage Women’s Clothing, Handbags and Accessories; Furniture, Art and Quilts; Vintage Toys, Games and Books; and Collectibles. We are now accepting donations of the following clean, quality items: art, rare books, stamps, coins, vintage glass, pottery, figurines, china sets, silverware, tea sets, high-end cookware, kitchen collectibles, memorabilia, designer or vintage clothing and handbags, jewelry, furniture, sporting goods, sports collectibles, tools, and antiques. All donations will be organized by theme, auctioned off, and the proceeds will be used to support our target organizations’ immediate needs. When you donate an auction item, your name, if you approve, will be shown as the donor on all online advertising and at the auction. This recognition is one of the ways that we would thank you or your business for your generosity. The first auction will be held on Saturday, July 29th at 7:00 pm at Olde Mill Town Auction & Consignment Gallery, Inc., located at 1700 Al Brooks Drive in Valdosta (Remerton).

On June 1, 2017 at 9:30 a.,m., Jacqueline Shoemaker, Co-Founder of AHC, was invited to be a guest speaker at the Chamber's regularly scheduled meeting. It was a great opportunity to discuss Almost Home Charities' goals and aspirations with local business leaders.
